This study aims to describe the career planning of Class C Islamic Religious Education undergraduate students from the Class of 2021, UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This study is important because students are in the career exploration phase, requiring self-understanding, knowledge of the world of work, and a focused career plan. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Primary data were obtained through observations and interviews with five student informants selected using a purposive sampling technique, while secondary data were obtained from books, journal articles, and relevant supporting documents. Data analysis used the Spradley model, which includes domain analysis, taxonomy, componential analysis, and cultural themes. The results show that the career planning of Class C Islamic Religious Education undergraduate students from the Class of 2021 is still diverse. Some students already have a clear career direction and are starting to prepare, others do not yet have a concrete career picture, and some students still rely on their parents for career decisions. The findings also indicate that students' self-understanding and knowledge of the world of work are not evenly distributed. Therefore, more targeted academic mentoring and career services are needed so that students can connect the learning process with their career goals after graduation.Downloads
