Relevansi Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap Tujuan Pendidikan Islam Berdasarkan Q.S. Al-Qashas Ayat 77

Abstract

The independent curriculum is a curriculum as a response to the evaluation of the 2013 curriculum and the emergency curriculum and as a refinement of the previous curriculum which provides hope in learning. Indonesia is a country that frequently changes curriculum. Not all changes bring good processes and results, therefore, as a response to this curriculum change, this research aims to find the relevance of the independent curriculum as the country's newest curriculum to the goals of Islamic education based on Q.S. al-Qashas verse 77. The benefit of this research is to find out the position of Islamic education in the independent curriculum. In conducting research, researchers used literature and qualitative study methods with data collection techniques from books, journal articles, interviews and direct observation in the field. The results of this research show that national education which contains a curriculum cannot be separated from Islamic education. A country with Pancasila as the basis of the state which places divine and humanitarian principles in it shows how important Islamic education is in realizing the goals of national education, namely cultivating and increasing faith, devotion to God Almighty, and forming moral character.
