Profil Motivasi Belajar Pada Siswa Pengurus Osis

Abstract

This research aims to determine the learning motivation profile of students who are administrators of State Vocational Schools in Serang City, which is based on the motivation theory developed by Ryan and Deci, namely Self-Determination Theory (SDT). Learning motivation plays a very important role in student learning activities because it is a factor that influences student success and can give rise to positive behavior in learning activities. This research was carried out based on a phenomenon that occurs in the field, namely that there are still student council administrators who have a low level of motivation to learn, and even have difficulty focusing on determining learning activities or activities in their organization. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive study which aims to present an overview of the level of learning motivation among student council administrators. Data collection is done by distributing learning motivation instruments or questionnaires. The subjects of this research were 321 State Vocational School student council administrators in Serang City for the 2023/2024 term. The results of the research show a general picture of learning motivation, namely that 285 student council administrators with a percentage of 88.8% were in the high category, and 36 student council administrators with a percentage of 11.2% were in the medium category. This means that students learn consciously and experience a desire to learn because of personal interests. The results of this research are in the form of a design for providing information services using guidance and counseling media, the aim of which is to help motivate students to learn from student council administrators which can be displayed on the student council's wall paper or shared via social media.
