Pembelajaran PAI dengan Strategi Discovery Learning di SMA Muhammadiyah 9 Kualuh Hulu: Sebuah Tinjauan Kualitatif

Abstract

The use of interesting and fun learning strategies will greatly affect the learning atmosphere in the classroom. To overcome this, the teacher needs a strategy in the learning process, namely by applying an appropriate learning method or strategy for the sake of a good learning process. One of them is by using the discovery learning strategy. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the planning of discovery learning strategy in PAI learning. (2) the implementation of discovery learning strategy in PAI learning. (3) evaluation of discovery learning strategy in PAI learning. This research is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, the research subjects are Islamic Religious Education subject teachers and students at SMA Muhammadiyah 9 Kualuh Hulu. the learning strategy used is discovery learning in PAI learning. The instruments used for data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument will later analyse the results descriptively qualitative. The results of this study show: (1) planning the implementation of discovery learning strategies through the stages of making modules and lesson plans, preparing handbooks for material readiness. (2) the implementation is divided into 3 stages, the introduction stage; the teacher opens the learning with greetings, conveys learning objectives, and apperception. Content stage: carried out by providing stimulus, problem identification, data collection, data processing, proof, and generalisation, the final stage; the teacher closes the lesson by appreciating student performance followed by providing closing motivation. (3) Evaluation of the discovey learning strategy in learning uses 3 assessments, attitude assessment, knowledge assessment, and skills assessment.
